Eastwood is small enough that we are able to individualize the services a homeowner needs. Services may include the following:

Meals - Meals are furnished through Fair Haven and are served in one of their dining rooms. The current cost of dining there is $1.75 per meal. We can also deliver meals to your home for an additional 50 cents. A Certified Dietary Manager and Registered Dietitian are employed to ensure excellent meals as well as accommodate special diets. Don't let the low cost of meals fool you. The overhead for meal preparation is absorbed by Fair Haven and the savings is passed onto the Village residents.

Maid Service - Maid service can be provided through a variety of services available. Our service is the housekeeping services of Fair Haven. Currently a charge of $9.00 an hour is charged for this service. Again, this service is customized to fit the needs of the homeowner. You may want it weekly, monthly, as requested or not at all. The choice is yours.

Minor Maintenance - For small maintenance problems in the home, like changing light bulbs or the like, the maintenance department of Fair Haven provides this service at no charge.

Transportation - If transportation is needed a driver can be provided through Fair Haven. No charge is made if he drives the homeowner's car. A charge of 28 cents a mile is made if the company car is used.

Health Care - Nurses are available 24 hours a day to help in any health emergency. The nursing staff also can help by keeping track of blood pressure and/ore any medications which need to be monitored routinely. CNA's are available to help in needed situations also. CNA services are charged at the rate of $10.00 an hour. No charge is made for professional nursing services.

Long Term Care - Fair Haven is available and offers first priority to Eastwood residents should the need for either short or long term care is warranted. Fair Haven provides Assisted Living, Intermediate and Skilled Nursing Care is recognized as one of the top nursing homes in North Carolina and is licensed under Medicare and Medicaid. Physical, Occupational and Speech therapies are available if that need arises also.
