At Eastwood we have several goals we want to achieve:

Capital Preservation - We desire to protect our residents' capital by offering home ownership. Residents are not subject to increasing rents or large entrance fees. Capital is preserved by a fee simple ownership which means the title to the property can be willed, rented ore resold as the situation arises.

Low Monthly Costs - A board of directors, elected annually by the homeowners, sets the monthly fees which are currently $70.00. The Homeowners' Association, which controls all the common property, maintains all the property exteriors including re-roofing, painting and cleaning the exterior of each home. The homeowners also have access to a lovely clubhouse, swimming pool and workshop.

Independence - By providing a variety of services as needs may change, we strive to help residents maintain independence as long as possible. However, if the need arises we can also offer the services of assisted living, intermediate and skilled nursing care on site.

Security - We offer the services of skilled medical personnel 24 hours a day to help access any situation which may arise.

Continuing Care - We offer the services of Fair Have Home which is located on site to provide excellent care on a 24 hour basis, if needed. Fair Haven can offer Assisted Living care as well as Intermediate and Skilled Nursing Care. We are an approved Medicare/Medicaid provider and have one of the best care giving ratings of all the Nursing Homes in North Carolina.
