Eastwood Village is a private neighborhood designed for active people who desire privacy, security, independence and maintenance-free living. The Village consists of 31 homes located in the foothills of the Blueridge Mountains two miles east of Forest City, NC on Highway 74B.

Eastwood Village is set up as a separate corporation but does have a special relationship with Fair Haven Nursing Home. Eastwood was built on property originally owned by Fair Haven and Fair Haven offers the supportive services for the Village residents. The Nursing home provides the meals, which can be taken in the main dining room or delivered to the home. They also can provide the maid service, transportation and minor maintenance. A key for each home is kept in a locked cabinet at Fair Haven in the event of an emergency. Nurses are available 24 hours a day for emergency care. Also residents of the Village are given first priority on admission. Fair Haven is rated as one of the top nursing homes in the state and strives hard to maintain that standing.
